NorthLink Ferries - Pet Booking Information
You can take your pet on your NorthLink Ferries crossing and the booking can be made online. Select the route you want and then select the number of pets you are travelling with.
Pets must travel in the kennel facilities which are available on board all ships. With the exception of guide and assistance dogs, animals are not allowed in any of the internal public areas, including cabins.
The kennel room on the ships are heated and ventilated and there is a water supply for filling the dog’s water bowl. You should provide bowls to keep in the kennel to enable the animal to have water/food during the voyage. Whilst each unit contains a rubber mat on the floor, we also recommend that you provide a blanket or basket for your pet to sleep on.
Note, that to travel with your pet abroad, you will require a pet passport. Please see our guide to travelling with your pet.
